Halo Infinite’s campaign deviates from previous games by adding an open map to explore. While parts of the map have to be opened up by completing story missions, it is still different than other Halo games. However, just because the game has a big open map you can traverse at your leisure doesn’t mean the missions aren’t indoors. In fact, many on our Halo Infinite mission list feel like “classic” Halo. You will still be fighting enemies in small corridors and alien structures. The campaign offers a surprising amount of variety across its open world.
There are a total of 15 missions in Halo Infinite’s campaign mode. As I stated, some of these missions take place in linear structures. Others will take place in the open world, and you will be able to tackle the mission how you please. Also, there are many boss fights. Each one is fun and unique and will push your skills to the limit. This is especially true if you are playing on Legendary.
Here is a list of all 15 missions in Halo Infinite in order and a small overview of each. There might be some spoilers ahead. You have been warned.
Warship Gbraakon
The first mission of Halo Infinite will find Master Chief being saved by an unknown ally. Shortly after the brief tutorial, Master Chief will soon be back on the Banished Warship. You will be fighting a lot of Grunts and lower-ranked Brutes. You might have some trouble if you play on Legendary or Heroic difficulties.
The goal is to battle your way through the ship, completing any objective. Near the end, you will need to escape the exploding ship and get to the pelican quickly.
Foundation
The second mission will see you in another underground structure. This mission is fairly linear, and you only need to battle your way through enemies to get to the objective. The goal is to reach The Weapon, which is an AI similar to Cortana. After, you will need to reach the surface, but you will have to fight a boss before that happens.
Outpost Tremonius
After a short fight through a few tunnels and corridors, you will finally reach the surface, where the game starts to open up. This mission is fairly quick. The main objective here is to meet the pilot at the landing zone. You will need to clear it out of all enemies nearby so he can land. After, board the pelican and begin the next Halo Infinite mission on our list.
The Tower
This mission has two parts. You will need to take out a group of enemies surrounding The Tower on the ground. Then you can access the gravity lift to get inside. The second part takes place inside The Tower. It has small corridors and flows in a circular layout as you make your way to the top. To complete the mission, you must fight another boss, so be ready. Excavation Site
Players will soon find themselves at a large excavation site that seems to be abandoned, but it will flood with enemies real soon. The main objective is to disable the laser, which requires destroying regulators and pylons. Doing so will grant you access to the main laser room. Get ready for yet another boss fight.

Conservatory
We are back in another structure for this mission, making this mission easy to follow. Continue through the Conservatory while defeating any enemies that stand in your way. You will encounter a new enemy in this mission as well. The end of the mission will have a lengthy cutscene with the main antagonist of Halo Infinite.
Spire
Spire is one of the shortest on our Halo Infinite mission list. The Harbinger leads Chief and the Weapon into a Forerunner construction known as the Spire outside the Conservatory. There, they meet submonitor Adjutant Resolution, who guides them through the ancient structure and explains its function: the rebuilding of Zeta Halo. You will have to fight another boss, so be prepared.
Pelican Down
Banished anti-aircraft guns attack the Pelican as it approaches the second Spire. Chief sets out on foot to destroy the 3 AA guns. This mission is set in the open world, so you can approach the AA guns however you want. At the end of this mission will be another boss fight with 2 brutes.
The Sequence
The main objective is to use the four beacons to find a sequence that allows you to enter the Command Spire. This mission is quite long and will have you travel around a lot to complete. Expect a lot of enemies as well.

Nexus Mission in Halo Infinite
Nexus is a point of no return, so do any side mission or collect any Spartan Cores. You won’t be able to grab them until you beat the story. Finishing each mission will immediately start the next one. Players will need to locate the Nexus and enable the Grav-lift. This won’t be easy as many enemies will try to stop you.
The Command Spire
There are a few objectives to complete in this mission. First, players must make their way to the top of Command Spire. In doing so, you will be greeted with another boss fight. The same boss from the Spire mentioned earlier on our Halo infinite mission list. Once the boss is down, you will need to take down all Spires by accessing the terminal, but many enemies will try to stop you from doing that.
Repository
After traveling through the portal, the Master Chief and the Weapon emerge at a place known as the Repository. They learn that the Pilot has been kidnapped. Players must find an information relay and return to the surface.
The Road
Deep in Banished territory, Chief and the Weapon race down a perilous route in search of the abducted Pilot. The goal of this mission is to reach the House of Reckoning. This map is linear and can be completed while in a vehicle most of the time.
There’s actually a very fun easter egg available in this mission you may want to grab. You can unlock the How to Bring Shiela Home Safely secret achievement by getting your scorpion tank all the way to the end of the mission without it being destroyed. The name of the achievement is a reference to the fantastic Red vs. Blue comic series based on animations from the first Halo game.
House of Reckoning
This mission might be one of the hardest missions in Halo Infinite. The player will have to defeat waves of enemies. When you kill all reinforcements, you will need to fight 2 bosses back to back. Silent Auditorium
The final mission in Halo Infinite begins immediately after the last one. You will finally get to confront and fight the Harbinger.
