Thanks to the birth of Social Media, there’s been something of a revolution in celebrity engagement with their fans. Fortnite offers a new way to engage with your favorite stars: playing with Fortnite celebrity skins!
Fortnite as a video game is something of an anomaly; it acts as a platform beyond being just a Battle Royale for millions of players. The game has played host to virtual concerts, showcased movies and trailers, and held celebrity tournaments. Personalities who have participated include rapper Drake, Denver Nuggets Forward Aaron Gordon, popular DJ Sigala, and actor Cody Walker (brother of the late Paul Walker).
Celebrities and other well-known players/streamers of the game have also had their own Outfits put into the game. This review will focus on finding the very best celebrity Fortnite skins for fans and haters alike.
Come take a dive with us into the Icon series, and see who’s the best dressed when it comes to the star-studded roster.
The Top 10 Celebrity Fortnite Skins
10. Harry Kane
Part of the collaboration with the European Football body UEFA for the European Championships back in 2020, England and Tottenham Hotspurs striker Harry Kane arrived in Fortnite during Season 7 of Chapter 2. Ironically, despite the promotional celebrity Fortnite skin release, the UEFA championships were not held in 2020 due to COVID-19.
His skin is part of a large European soccer promotion. He’s also about to become the England Men’s Team’s top goal scorer. In this celebrity Fortnite skin, Kane dons his white England Home kit with his green Nike soccer boots.
I’ll admit that this inclusion was unusual to me personally. I myself am from the UK and a big soccer fan. Yet, someone like Harry Kane who is really only celebrated in the United Kingdom and at a stretch Europe makes his celebrity skin in Fortnite feel a bit out of place in this global phenomenon.
No disrespect, but he doesn’t quite have the same pop-culture reach that athletes like Michael Jordan and David Beckham have. That being said, I’m glad he made the cut and is representing the UK.
Regardless, Kane landed in the game with our next entry and was part of a double feature bundle and with the HurriKane pack that included his Back Bling of the same name and his Emote, Sweet Victory.
9. Marco Reus
The second half of the UEFA 2020 European Championships collab featured German striker Marco Reus. His celebrity skin was released to Fortnite alongside previous soccer player Harry Kane. You can also find Reus in his own set, the Marcinho.
Powerful, fast, and deadly in front of goal, Reus has been a vital player for his German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund. He also supports, to a lesser extent, the German National Men’s Team. He was key In helping Borussia Dortmund win three DFL-Supercups by raking in over 150 goals.
Due to the UEFA collaboration, Reus’ Outfit is that of the Germany team, with their white and black home kit. This celebrity Fortnite soccer skin is completed by his squad number 11 emblazoned on his top.
Unfortunately, due to many injuries that have plagued him in recent years and during times of true inconvenience, Reus has played less of a role in German soccer. He missed out on key tournaments like the European Championships and the World Cup.
Despite this, Reus still makes it into Fortnite with his celebrity skin for 1,600 V-Bucks on his own. Alternatively, you can pay 2,300 V-Bucks to get his skin when bundled with Harry Kane.

8. Chloe Kim
Another athlete but from a very different field, snowboarder Chloe Kim was added in March 2022. This makes her one of the most recent celebrities to receive a Fortnite skin.
She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, the youngest woman to win an Olympic gold medal in Snowboarding, the first woman to win two gold medals in the half-pipe event, and six time X-Games gold medalist. Kim has quite the esteemed resume despite being just 22 years old.
Kim stays true to her sporting roots. Her celebrity fortnite skins come in four outfit styles. In all, you can find her in extreme winter gear that keeps the cold well away.
Her default style has a white/grey color split. Her outfit sports a dragon print twisting on her left leg with a pink chest piece. Back to Back switches the color palette for black and gold. Her Pink Poppies version lightens her up with a blue and pink jumpsuit and removes her hat.
Lastly, her Deep Freeze look gives her a Sub-Zero style face mask. It also has an ombre ice effect on one-half of her clothes. We think that Deep Freeze is easily the best variant of her skin.
Chlor Kim’s celebrity Fortnite skin can be purchased for 1,500 V-Bucks. You can also grab it for 2,400 as a Bundle or unlock it for free by taking part in the Chloe Kim Cup.
7. Travis Scott
Despite being embroiled in some controversy after his touring incident, Travis Scott came along in Chapter 2: Season 2 to take part in the Astronomical Concert. This virtual event was a joint effort between Epic Games, artist AstroJack, Cactus Jack Creations, and the musician himself to debut a new single.
Scott’s design is fairly basic but iconic. His celebrity Fortnite skin has him shirtless and sporting a pair of sand-colored cargo trousers. His outfit is complete with a cross necklace and chain around his neck.
Scott also has another variant of his Character called the T-3500 which is something of a joint reference; his look and the “T-” prefix along with his cybernetic look/scars are a clear nod to the Terminator series, the “3500” number a reference to his song of the same name.
After the tragic Astroworld Incident, it is very unlikely you’ll see Travis Scott appear in the store any time soon.
6. Naomi Osaka
Going from the center court of Wimbledon to the streets of Retail Row with racket in hand, the ace serving sensation Naomi Osaka brings her proud heritage and natural athleticism to Fortnite with her celebrity skin.
A star that’s experienced something of a meteoric rise in the sport of Tennis, Naomi Osaka found her way into Fortnite during Season 1 of Chapter 3.
Her outfit is as loud as her serve is aggressive. Her white/pink ombre cropped top flows into her pink and turquoise skirt before reaching her knee-length strawberry milkshake-inspired socks. She also has bright pink locks flowing from her head. Complementing the theme, her earrings are actually small tennis balls fashioned into accessories.
You certainly won’t miss her coming if she’s out in the open. This is one of the brightest and most flamboyant skins in Fortnite!
Naomi Osaka’s skin was able to be unlocked for free in Fortnite by competing in her eponymous CupPurchasable. You can also purchase this celebrity Fortnite skin solo for 2,000 V-Bucks or part of a Bundle for 2,700 V-Bucks.
She also has an alternate style called Court Queen. This other celebrity skin in Fortnite really lays on the pink. Naomi Osaka also has a variant for her outfit called Dark Priestess. All outfits are complete with their own racket Harvesting Tools.
This is Naomi Osaka’s second time being featured in one of our Fortnite skin reviews. She was also featured in our review of the most stunning Fortnite bikini skins.
5. Ariana Grande/Spacefarer Ariana
Ariana Grande used the video game as a stage to launch her Rift Tour. It was a special gig that took place over the course of three days within Fortnite. Ariana Grande is one of many musician celebrities to be featured with a Fortnite skin. Ariana Grande’s fame also acted as a great promotion Epic Games.
All of Grande’s Outfits are galactic and interstellar influenced owing to her Rift Tour theme; her standard outfit is completely silver and covered head to toe in glitter. It is also one of the hottest Fortnite skins you can purchase.
She also has a Rift Goddess Outfit that looks like a new evolution, with all of her Outfits coming with her pint-sized pet Piggy Smallz acting as her Back Bling.
Ariana Grande also has another set of Outfits in the Spacefarer style, which puts her in a full suit of astronaut armor. With helmet included, she looks like she’s the next Buzz Lightyear.
A variant of this is her Captain A. Grande that changes her accent colors from green to yellow/gold, and her big upgrade is her Starfire armor that makes her look like she should be flying around with the Avengers.
4. LeBron James
A King in both nickname and via his actions on the court, LeBron James has been compared to some of the greatest names to play the sport of Basketball. He is up there with the likes of Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant. So it’s no surprise then that he was made a part of Fortnite’s Icon series. His standing is well and truly that great!
Despite being a legend in his own right thanks to his numerous MVP awards, Championship trophies, and Olympic gold medals, it was actually a film role that brought about King James being added into the globally successful shooter. James was added to the game on the same day that Space Jam: A New Legacy was released in theatres.
As such, along with his standard outfit of a more stylish look with his white hoodie and leather jacket, LeBron also has a Tune Squad Outfit that shows off his jersey from the movie.
Being a true Icon, James does not come cheap. He can be purchased for 2,000 V-Bucks or as part of the King James Bundle for 2,500 V-Bucks which includes both Outfits, his Wingspan Glider, Lion Harvesting Tool, King 6 Back Bling, and Silencer Emote.
The 3 Best Fortnite Celebrity Skins
3. Major Lazer
Despite what people commonly know as the Major Lazer character, the depiction that is shown in Fortnite and other media like album artwork and promotional material is actually a fictional creation. “Major Lazer” is in fact a trifecta of musicians made up of the artists Diplo, Ape Drums, and Walshy Fire.
Arriving in Season X and the first Icon Outfit that has a Built-In Emote, Major Lazer (to impart some lore on the character for those that don’t know) is a superhero of Jamaican descent that fights against the forces of President Whitehall and General Rubbish. He uses the laser cannon on his right hand as his main weapon of choice.
Part of the Lazerism Set including Vinyl Records, a Glider, and Harvesting Tool, Lazer sports the same outfit as he does in other artistic appearances. This celebrity Fortnite skin comes with a red beret, thick sunglasses, and green waistcoat. Yet, this time he has a golden metallic arm instead of his laser cannon. It wouldn’t really be fair in the context of the game if he had his own laser cannon.
Costing 1,600 V-Bucks standalone or 2,400 for the Set, Major Lazer remains that Peace is the Mission.
2. Marshmello – Runner-Up to the Best Celebrity Fortnite Skin
Something of an enigma within the musical realm along with other masked entities like deadmau5, Buckethead, and Daft Punk, music artist and DJ Marshmello has been an avid and active fan of the game for a while. His appreciation was acknowledged by putting his likeness into Fortnite itself as one of the best Fortnite celebrity skins.
The man who actually kicked off the Icon series by being the first one added to it, Marshmello’s default Outfit is what he’s normally seen in when he’s performing live sets in concert. His basic outfit includes a white t-shirt, bottoms, and gloves, along with his signature headpiece of a “marshmallow” shaped helmet with X eyes and a low smile.
‘Mello (real name Christopher Comstock) also has another style of his Outfit. He has the Toasted Marshmello variant which switches up his style to the opposite end of the color spectrum. It puts him in black bar his helmet which goes to a brownish-gold (hence the Outfits name).
Both Outfits are also Reactive in nature, adding lighting effects to the helmet, arms, and legs of each Outfit
1. Neymar Jr. – The Best Celebrity Fortnite Skin’
A global star in the sport of Soccer and regarded as one of the world’s best current players, Brazilian maestro Neymar Jr transitioned from the pitch to the battlefield with relative ease as part of the Chapter 2: Season 6 Battle Pass, and has a hidden trick up his sleeve which earns him the Number One spot on this list.
At the time of writing playing as a Striker for Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and the Brazilian National Team, Neymar shattered the record transfer fee to join the French club from Spanish titans Barcelona for 222M Euros.
Being at the top of his sport like many of the other athletes added into the game, it was obvious why Epic wanted him as part of their Icon series.
On the face of it, Neymar is the same or potentially more plain than other soccer stars Marco Reus and Harry Kane, with his black soccer kit as his default style and his Exhibition kit resembling the colors of the Brazilian flag.
However, upon unlocking his unique emote “Shhh” and performing it in a game, you become the Jaguar, a suit that makes the striker more akin to Marvel’s Black Panther.
It’s for that reason alone that he (pretty easily) tops the Fortnite Celebrity Outfits list.
