Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the best games that you can own skins on. Owning a skin in CS:GO is very different than owning one in another game because CS:GO mainly utilizes Steam’s community market for cosmetics. This means that you can not only buy skins but also sell them on the community market.
And since the only way a player can organically unlock a skin is by opening cases and to unlock a good skin, rarer skins usually go for very high prices. And the rarest skins in CSGO usually include shadow daggers, other knife skins, and gloves. They usually go for no less than a couple of hundred bucks each!
CS:GO knives come in various shapes, colors and qualities. You can get anything from Karambits to Bayonets and Butterfly Knives; they all come in their own animations and looks. And each of these knives has various color variations that help them vary in looks and price. And Shadow Dagger is also one of the most unique-looking knives in that game, with many color variations and cool animations.
About Shadow Dagger Skins in CSGO
Shadow Daggers are a pair of small pointy blades that you usually place in front of your knuckles, and attacking with them is as simple as just throwing a few jabs at your enemy. Just like most covert knives in the game, Shadow Daggers are an extremely rare melee cosmetic that is only available to unlock through a few exceptional cases.
However, if you are open to spending some cash, you can easily acquire one on the Steam Community Market for a reasonable price. While most knife skins go for ridiculous prices, Shadow Daggers are on the more affordable side, and you can get one anywhere from $50 to $200. Getting one with a StatTrack will cost slightly more.
Valve first added the knife skin to the game on September 17th, 2015 in the Shadow Boxing update, and it was first available to be unlocked through a Shadow Case. Later on, more chromas to the unique and rare melee skin were added, and now the skin is acquirable through many different cases.
The chromas include finishes from various skin lines and color variants. And since more variations have been added, Shadow Daggers can now be unlocked from multiple cases. The following is a list of all chromas available for the Shadow Dagger in CSGO, their prices, and their cases.

Final Verdict
The base/Vanilla Shadow Dagger variant is already a very stylish Covert Knife to own. But a few other finishes stand out due to their unique color variants and rarity. However, some of these might go for a heftier price than the base skin. Fade, Doppler, Tiger Tooth, Damascus Steel, Crimson Web, Forest DDPAT, and Marble Fade are some of the most famous Shadow Dagger skins in CSGO.
And out of the bunch, Fade stands out due to its unique gradient finish that looks aesthetic in-game. And Doppler Shadow Daggers is also one of the best due to the different “phases” it comes in. Apart from them, Lore is another great Shadow Daggers finish that stands out due to its golden finish alongside the unique patterns around the blade.
