During a limited-time event, old Prime Warframes and weapons were brought back for a limited time and rotated out with each week. Players could farm a new currency in Warfame called Aya to have a chance of obtaining parts of these old Prime Warframes. Aya is one of the latest currencies in Warframe, introduced during the Prime Resurgence event.
Since the Prime Resurgence event has ended, Aya remains in the game and serves as currency to obtain a limited rotation of Warframes, still available in Marroo’s Bazaar. With the success of the Prime Resurgence event, the Prime Vault has been discontinued. Instead of getting two random Prime Warframes with their weapons unvaulted, we now have the Prime Resurgence rotation.
Like the event, every few weeks, Varzia’s shop in Marroo’s Bazaar changes with Warframes that were included in the recent event or adds a handful of Warframes that were left out. Also, a new Prime Warframe is unveiled; you still obtain them through farming Void Relics in the open world.
Where to Farm Aya in Warframe?
During the Prime Resurgence event, Aya was most commonly farmed through all the major bounties across Cetus, Fortuna, and Deimos, and we still recommend sticking to this method. If you need to boost your standing with a specific faction, you can gain Aya from all three factions while grinding out their bounties. However, Deimos does have the highest drop chance since their bounty reward pools aren’t as substantial compared to other factions.
The percent chances for each rotation, stage, and level are shown in the table below.
Percent Chance for Each Rotation, Stage, and Level | Rotation | Drop Chance |
---|---|---|
Steel Path Necralisk Bounty Lvl 100-100 Stages 2 & 3 | A | 28.57% |
Necralisk Bounty Lvl 40-60 Stages 2 & 3 | A | 28.57% |
Necralisk Bounty Lvl 30-40 Final Stage | A | 24.53% |
Necralisk Bounty Lvl 30-40 Final Stage | B | 24.53% |
Necralisk Bounty Lvl 30-40 Stage | B | 17.81% |
Steel Path Necralisk Bounty Lvl 100-100 Stage 4 | A | 22.22% |
Necralisk Bounty Lvl 40-60 Stage 4 | A | 20% |
Necralisk Bounty Lvl 15-25 Final Stage | A, B, & C | 20% |
Steel Path Necralisk Bounty Lvl 100-100 Final Stage | A | 43.48 % |
Steel Path Necralisk Bounty Lvl 40-60 Final Stage | A | 43.48% |
Steel Path Necralisk Bounty Lvl 5-15 Final Stage | A, B & C | 20% |
Deimos Bounties are extremely quick to complete thanks to the simplicity of their objectives that you have to complete. You can reliably obtain a few Aya every few minutes with an entire group of friends, depending on what objectives spawn or your composition of Warframes.
If you don’t want to farm Deimos Bounties, we recommend choosing Cetus as your secondary option mainly for the speed at which you can complete the objectives. Some Fortuna Bounties reward higher chances of obtaining Aya, but over half of the Fortuna objectives are time-gated.

Void Missions
There is also a second way of obtaining Aya in Warframe, and that’s through Void missions. The percentages are significantly smaller if you want to farm void missions for Aya while trying to get Argon Crystals. The majority of the Void missions don’t have a drop chance higher than 10%. Yet, two notable missions are on Mithra and Mot. Mithra is a Void Interception mission, and Mot is a Void Survival mission. Both of their C Rotations have a 22.11% chance of dropping Aya.
Since both missions are Interception and Survival, they will take significantly longer to complete and take longer to get into the C Rotations when Bounties are far faster to complete in the same amount of time.
Ghoul Bounties
Ghoul Bounties only come around once per month for a limited time. Yet, they are worth doing in Warframe for the high amount of Aya you can obtain. The first stage of Ghoul Purge Bounties for levels 15-25 and 40-50 have a drop chance of 26.47%. The first stage of Ghoul Purge can be completed in roughly one to two minutes, solo or with friends.
It’s critical to avoid doing the second and third stages since their drop chances are only 8.74%, so abandon the mission after clearing the first stage and then restart.
Relic Packs
Suppose you have been playing Warframe for a long time. You will likely already have maximum standing with your chosen faction Syndicate. Whether you are with Steel Meridian, Arbiters of Hexis, Cephalon Suda, The Perrin Sequence, Red Veil, or the New Loka, you are bound to have a surplus of extra standing.
All Syndicate factions can trade in a large chunk of your standing to gain a Relic pack. From each Relic Pack, you have a slight chance of obtaining a few Aya if you are lucky. It’s a small percentage, but the Syndicate factions haven’t offered anything new or worth purchasing in years, so it’s worth the slight chance. Even if you don’t obtain any Aya, gaining more Void Relics is always welcome.

What can You Get with Aya in Warframe?
Aya is still used in purchasing Vaulted Void Relics from Varzia in Maroo’s Bazaar. Every few weeks, her store will rotate, and a fresh selection of Prime Warframes and weapons will be available to purchase with Aya. The number of different Void Relics does change between the weeks, but it’s a great way to farm Prime Warframes to sell on the market for more Platinum.
There currently is no other way to obtain these Vaulted Void Relics, and each Void Relic is purchased for one Aya. Alternatively, you can always buy the following from Varzia’s shop regardless of the rotation.
Permanent Items | Aya Cost |
---|---|
Spektaka Liset Skin | 10 Aya |
Apis Syandana | 10 Aya |
Neraloid Bundle | 10 Aya |
5x Orokin Ducats | 1 Aya |
Void Trace Pack | 1 Aya |
Varzia’s shop also has the option to purchase Prime Packs and other cosmetics that cannot be farmed through the Vaulted Void Relics. The only way to purchase these additional cosmetics is with real money through buying Regal Aya, which is the premium currency. The shop rotates every few weeks, so make sure to check what new cosmetics and Warframes become available to purchase with Aya.
