Hero Shooters have gained substantial popularity in the past few years thanks to games such as Overwatch, Valorant, Apex Legends, and others. This genre gained tons of popularity for its pretty visuals and competitive, tactical, and skill-based gameplay. The heroes added a special touch to these kinds of games by having players master the different heroes available and developing their strategies with each one of them.
Rogue Company, even tho it didn’t get the attention it deserves, is still a good game and one of the most fun in the genre. Moreover, it has tons of potential to be something great. Adopting the trend of hero shooters also implements shooting mechanics, making the players rely on abilities and skill during a gunfight. This game might be an excellent option for people who played the old classic SOCOM games and missed the old tactical third-person shooters.
Overview of Rogue Company’s Gameplay
In Rogue Company’s primary game mode, players fight in Demolitions matches of 4v4 while one team defends two objectives and the other must plant the bomb in one of the two. Attackers win by blowing up one of the objectives and defenders by making the attackers run out of time. Both teams can also win by eliminating their enemies. Each player of every team must pick one Rogue before the match starts.
What are The Rogues in Rogue Company
Rogues are the heroes in this game, and each must be unlocked by the player, either using currency earned by playing the game or with real cash. Similar to Rainbow Six Siege. The player already starts with six Rogue Company characters available by default: Anvil, Dima. Ronin, Dallas, Saint, and Trench. The rest must be purchased.
In Rogue Company, there are four types of heroes. We will briefly explain each.
- Breachers: This class belongs to the aggressive players as they specialize in breaking enemy defenses so the rest of the team can push
- Defenders: They have the task of defending positions of interest such as the bomb sites
- Duelists: They are the power of the team and like to get close and personal with the enemy. This type of Rogue is capable of trading and engaging with multiple enemies at the same time.
- Supports: They assist the team during combat

How Every Rogue Company Character’s Ability Affected Their Tier List Ranking
S Tier Characters in Rogue Company
Scorch (Duelist)
If used right, Scorch can be one of the hardest Rogues to deal with as his ability overheat, setting enemies on fire with damage over time. Scorch can deal with groups of enemies dealing high damage making it one of the most lethal Rogues at close range.
Lancer (Duelist)
While active, the Lancer movement speed is increased and silent for a limited time or if the player fires the weapon. This ability allows her to flank enemies extremely fast and quietly, making her the best Rogue to flank and ambush.
Dallas (Duelist)
Reveals the closest enemy temporarily, which makes it one of the most valuable Rogues when it comes to intel and a must when for every team lineup
Gl1tch (Breacher)
This ability allows Gl1tch to detect nearby players, gadgets, and traps, jam radars, and destroy enemy equipment while blocking the use of devices by the enemy. This ability enables the team to push more confidently without dealing with traps or enemy abilities.
Dhalia (Support)
Dhalia can link to an ally for a round and revive them at a distance of 30 meters.
Anvil (Defender)
Anvil deploys a barricade that blocks incoming damage. This ability makes Anvil one of the strongest defenders.
Glimpse (Duelist)
Active camouflage that makes Glimpse almost invisible temporarily. This camouflage also allows Glimpse to move faster. In the right hands, Glimpse can be one of the most lethal attackers to perform flanks and ambushes.
A Tier Rogue Company Characters
Ronin (Duelist)
Equips an explosive knife that can be stuck to walls and detonates when enemies pass by. This ability can be tricky to use and might take some practice.
Seeker (Support)
An arrow that reveals enemies along the path, Seeker’s ability is excellent but not as helpful as Dallas’s.
Saint (Support)
Deploys a Medical Drone that can revive teammates anywhere on the map. Saint is considered one of the best Support Rogues, and it’s always friendly having one on the team.
Umbra (Duelist)
Deploys a robot spider that seeks enemies and detonates near them. This ability is even considered OP at the moment, making Umbra one of the deadliest Rogues in the game.
Juke (Defender)
Defense drone that shoots laser enemies running by. These drones do very little damage and can be easily countered by experienced players.

The Fixer (Defender)
When active, The Fixer can see enemy heat signatures temporarily.
B Tier Heros from Rogue Company
Dima (Breacher)
MIRV launcher that expands on small grenades after the initial explosion. The MIRV launcher can be deadly if used correctly, but other abilities or throwables can easily replace it.
Vy (Defender)
Poisons a zone that deals damage to enemies inside it. This ability can be predictable after a few rounds and lasts only a few moments.
Talon (Duelist)
He throws a dart that reveals nearby enemies. Like other Rogues, Talon can be very useful for intel but still doesn’t surpass Dallas’s ability.
Switchblade (Breacher)
A launcher that fires a Napalm Warhead that deals damage on impact while releasing small clusters. This ability can be lethal, but it can be easy to evade, and it doesn’t benefit the team other than temporarily dealing damage to an area.
Kestrel (Duelist)
Deploys drone that fire a barrage of rockets at a specific location. This Rogue is not in a higher tier for reasons similar to Dima and Switchblade. Kestrel’s ability is considered even weaker than the past two.

C Tier Rogue Company Characters
Trench (Defender)
Deploys barbed wire that damages and slows enemies. The barbed wire can help block paths, but enemies can quickly destroy it.
Mack (Defender)
Deploys a device that launches a massive flashbang into the air. The flashbang can be predictable as it takes time to charge and makes a gigantic noise, making this ability extremely easy to evade and useless.
Runaway (Support)
Deploys a briefcase that provides infinite ammunition to teammates and refills gadgets. In a game like this, experienced players know how to preserve ammo, and an ability like this is highly situational, making it one of the most useless in the whole game.
Sigrid (Breacher)
Equips a ballistic shield that blocks incoming damage from the front. This ballistic shield can help push tight corners but can be countered by a well-placed grenade that the shield user can have difficulty evading.
Chaac (Duelist)
He can heal or revive by himself when downed, but his power doesn’t provide any use for the rest of the team, and it takes time to use, long enough that the enemy team has time to push Chaac and finish him off before the ability is used.
D Tier Rogue Company Champions
Phantom (Duelist)
It throws smoke that reveals enemies inside it. Phantom is a fan favorite, and she can be instrumental in the right hands, but still, this is a game where maps are tights for the most part, and closing distances can be extremely easy. Once an enemy player engages Phantom in close-range, she becomes extremely vulnerable and easy to kill.
Cannon (Defender)
Deploys a Gatling Gun that fires bullets at a fast rate of fire. The Gatling Gun can be mounted on a surface for increased accuracy. This Gatling Gun will slow the player down, making the Rogue vulnerable. There is no situation where this ability will be a must and get players constantly killed against decent players.
Conclusion to Our Rogue Company Characters Tier List
Any Rogue in this game can be viable with the right strategy and set of skills. It is up to every player to try the different characters, practice, and find out which one fits their playstyle better.
We hope this tier list helps some players find their preferred Rogue.
