Hidden within Halo Infinite’s tutorials are a handful of easily missed achievements. One of these easily missed achievements would be “Make A Little More Noise”, where you have to grab a power weapon from the tutorial armory. The other achievement, “Greased Lightning”, requires you to sprint through the tutorial’s obstacle course in record time. Today we will be running you through how to easily grab both achievements in Halo Infinite.
Earning the Greased Lightning Achievement in the Halo Infinite Tutorial
Enter the tutorial and make your way through each step as usual. After pairing with your AI, you will enter the timed obstacle course. Go through the course once to familiarize yourself with the track; don’t worry about your time here. Once you enter through the finishing door, the timer will stop. Before proceeding forward, where they tell you to go on to the weapon tutorial, double back to the start of the course again. There is a short wall jump you can make to get back to the beginning. After going back across the bridge, you can jump over the gate to the right of it to go back to the previous area. Once you are back at the start, you can redeploy your AI to restart the course.
After a small countdown, the door will open again, and the timer will start once as soon as you begin running. Continue running out of the gate and immediately jump over the railing. Then, run your way across the yard, vault over the opposite railing, and go down the trap door. After falling through the door, continue running until you get to the bigger courtyard as usual.
What to Do When You Get to the Boxes at the End
The first thing you will see when you are running towards the entrance to the second courtyard is a pair of boxes. Run over, jump atop the left box, turn around, and look above you. There is a small corner next to the railing above you. You can jump up to vault on this small corner, skipping a small section of the course. Doing this skip should save you about ten seconds. Continue to run up toward the last flight of stairs, jump over the railing, and slide into the doorway. If done correctly, this should grant you the “Greased Lightning” achievement. If you manage to fall short by just a few seconds, you can return to the start and retry the course as many times as desired.

Make a Little More Noise – How to Grab a Power Weapon from the Tutorial Armory
After finishing the obstacle course, proceed down into the armory. If you have run through the tutorial previously, you would know that the game provides you only with one Assault Rifle at this point. Grab the Assault Rifle from the weapon rack, then proceed to the door, where you must use your AI to unlock it. After making your way through the door into the firing range, the game will teach you how to use your guns and grenades. You will also be introduced to the Commando for the first time.
After you complete this segment of the level, the tutorial will continue, where the AI will ask you to proceed forward through the opposite door at the end of the firing range. Instead, turn back into the previous room, and you will notice all the weapon racks around the room that were previously closed are now unlocked. Move toward the start of the room, and there will be weapon racks full of sniper rifles. Grab one, and you will get an extra dialogue line from your AI BUTLR. After your AI is done speaking, you will be rewarded with the achievement of learning how to grab a power weapon from the tutorial armory in Halo Infinite.
As Halo Infinite expands further into the coming Seasons, more achievements like these may become more common. The tutorial area that holds both of these easy-to-miss challenges might come back in the future alongside the indefinite weapon drills coming to Season 2 of Halo Infinite. Who knows, maybe it might even become an optional Hub for your Fireteam.
