Payday 2 is a game that pushes and rewards players that like to be aggressive and rushy. Payday 2 is a fast-paced game where quick reaction times, speed, and skill will be required to succeed on any mission. With an endless perk deck, Payday offers players a wide variety of options to build their loadout in any way that fits their playstyle.
In Payday 2, a Leech build is a playstyle that highly rewards players for tanking shots and going for kills. If you are a passive player who likes to be in a support role, this build is not for you as it will require you to get very close and personal with the enemies. This guide will cover the Leech Perk Deck and the skills, weapons, and gear that work well with this build.
Overview of our Leech Build for Payday 2
A Leech build will allow you to be aggressive while benefiting your teammates whenever you get hit. This build will also replace your throwable with an ampule that we will cover briefly. For a playstyle like this, we encourage players to grab weapons and gear that allows them to get close to enemies and wipe them out quickly. We will put our recommendations for weapons up next, but that can be up to personal preference.
Payday 2’s Leech Perk Deck
This perk will allow you to tank shots as it will make you invulnerable for a limited time, and every hit you take will heal your teammates. If you go down, you can use the Symbiosis skill, which will revive you temporarily, and reviving any teammates or using a Doctor Bag will increase your chances of staying alive.
Momentum Leech (Ampule)
When equipping the Leech Perk Deck, your throwable will be replaced by the Leech Ampule. You can use this item to restore 40% health and disables armor for the duration of the effect. The Ampule will also divide your health into segments of 20%, and any damage above 200 hit points removes one segment.
If you kill two enemies, you can restore one segment of the health lost and block damage for one second. Another great benefit from this perk is that any damage taken will heal your teammates for 5% of their HP.
