Your character choice and weapon choices might change, but the only thing that remains with you is your trusty melee weapon. It becomes natural for Valorant players to take out their knife while running to get faster movement. Unlike in other competitive FPS games, Valorant has a different approach to Knife/Melee skins: either completely changing the shape, adding RGB coloring, or doing something off the roof – unexpected.
Still, because of how much developers focused on the knife skins in Valorant, it is nearly impossible to pick the right Knife skin from the massive list of 50+ skins to show your friends how amazing you are. Therefore, we compiled a list of the top knife skins Valorant offers and ranked them from worst to best.
Brief Knife / Melee Weapon Overview
Knife is a Melee weapon given to every Valorant player at the start of each match. You can’t drop it or get rid of it, so it’s always with you! In Valorant there are two modes with the knife; one has faster slashing, while the other has a sharper thrust or jab.
Amazingly, there are combos associated with a slash, having a total of three swing combinations in the loop. The jab doesn’t give you a combination, but when you hit an enemy from the back, the enemy instantly dies.
You also get more credit when you kill with a knife in Valorant, but it is truly a matter of disrespect here. That’s really all there is to say about the Knife / Melee weapon in Valorant. Let’s move forward to our list of the top 10 knife skins in Valorant ranked from worst to best!
Top Knife/Melee skins Valorant ranked
10. Glitchpop Ax Skin
First, we have the Glitchpop ax, one of the most popular knives/melee skins Valorant has to offer. Valorant lovers simply bought it because of its whole bundle. Next to spectrum Knife, this one also has that RGB goodness and holographic effects.
There are no extra variants here. Yet, you can add a holographic outline with color-changing schemes to the skin as upgrades. There is inspect, slash, and equip VFX, along with unique glitch slashing SFX.
You can get this ax melee weapon skin for 4350 Valorant points.

9. Spectrum Waveform
Valorant’s developers went the extra mile to create the Spectrum Waveform knife skin. It is one of the rarest and most expensive skins ever to bless the community. It is more like a fully customizable light saber with RGB goodness and sound effects to boot.
The Spectrum package resulted from a collaboration between Riot Games and the artist Zedd. The RGB Knife skin has its sound effects and shows waveforms in response to these effects. Furthermore, you can pick between its variants that change the color combination of the blade and hilt.
The default color combination is the complete white-colored variant. The second variant has a white grip with a purple front. The third variant has a black grip with a purple front, and the fourth variant has a green front with black/white/red/green grip. Lastly, the fifth variant has a purple/pink grip with a blue front.
With upgrades like VFX, animations, and SFX, you can change the blade to transparent, add various colorings, give it a hue shift and add that pop-out blade animation. There is also some amazing background music from Zedd, the man himself. In a fun way, the skin recognizes the music and reacts accordingly with interesting waveforms.
The reason for dropping down so low on our list is its price range. In some ways, this Valorant knife skin is also a bit of an overkill. Not many people absolutely love this skin enough to pay the price. Most prefer to spend less on something more unique.
You can get this pricy Valorant knife skin for 5350 Valorant points.
8. Reaver Knife
Reaver never disappoints, and the same follows for its melee weapon. It looks more like an omen-themed knife with that edgy look and thick grip. It’s more apt to say that you will sacrifice your enemies with this ritualistic blade rather than slaying them.
You can see the beautifully wrapped handle in black between two purple-colored edges. Even more, the blade has a beautiful metallic finish with engravings. In terms of upgrades, there are VFX and SFX that you can add to re-equip, slash and inspect actions.

7. Relic of the Sentinel Valorant Knife Skin
It is more like a relic than a knife and, frankly, one of the most amazing looking skins you can get in the entire game! While it is very expensive, it does give your knife an entire makeover.
There is a large crystal that forms the core of this knife skin. This melee weapon is also fairly unique because you hold it perpendicular to the blade, like an ax, but the shape is nothing like an ax. Your character punches and thrusts with this Melee skin instead of whirling and slashing it around.
It comes with four total variants: the default one is that golden/white themed skin, the second is pink themed, the third is red/green themed, and finally, the last is blue/purple themed.
You can upgrade this Valorant knife skin and add various animations, VFX, and SFX to it. There is a re-equip animation along with a sound effect that is followed by slash and inspect actions as well. The crystal part of the blade rotates around the handle when you inspect it.

5. Origin Crescent Blade
The Origin Collection gives you a very cool, ancient technology theme. Luckily, the Origin knife skin is one of the best examples of this series. It has a mouth-watering crescent blade. Physically the blade is unique. There is nothing like this knife skin in Valorant.
This unique melee weapon is helo by a center hilt around which a crescent blade is formed. Further, you can see the golden color on the black metallic body. The blade finishes off with green engravings that really completes the whole look. On top of all that, the reflective metallic shine is very appealing.
The real shining point of the origin crescent blade is its special upgrades. When you inspect this beautiful melee skin in Valorant, the blade goes in the air, and moving parts divide, spinning right at the center of the character’s vision. Amazingly, all of this is happening in front of the character as the blades spin around.
You can get this historic blade for 3550 Valorant points.
