Meet Operator, the most overpowered gun in Valorant. If players are rich enough in Valorant, this sniper rifle is your ticket to an easy victory. Like Vandal, Riot Game developers seem to have a strong love for the Operator rifle. That’s why every top-notch Valorant skin collection has an Operator inside.

With so many skins to choose from, beautifying your Operator can feel like standing in Home Depot, blearily clutching too many paint swabs in your hands. Should the nursery be eggshell or cloud white? To make this process easier, we’ve compiled this list of the best Operator skins Valorant has ever made.

    Brief Operator Overview

The Operator is the most expensive gun players can purchase in Valorant. Players can one-shot enemies in the head or body with this powerful sniper rifle. Its scope has a handy double zoom that provides its wielder with the crispest view and the most damaging shots.

It’s a tricky weapon, but once mastered, the Operator puts fear in enemies’ hearts. The Operator has a small magazine and a meager rate of fire. It is wildly inaccurate unless players take the time to pause and look through the scope. Picking it up shows a player’s motivation and skill. It challenges us, “Are you worthy of the beast?”

Now that we’ve introduced this fantastic sniper rifle, let’s hop into the list of top Operator skins Valorant has to offer.

The Top Operator Skins in Valorant, Ranked

    5. G.U.N. Operator

    futuristic looking Valorant Operator skin

Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster Operator skin takes players on a space journey with its effects, sound, and that absolute jaw-dropping physical appearance. An antenna on the front fires laser bullets, and a massive scope on top adds to the futuristic look.

Players who purchase the G.U.N. Operator skin will find three other variants besides the green one. The first variant is chrome, the second is black, and the third has a red, white, and blue theme.

When players start upgrading the skin, players will notice that there is only VFX here that can be changed. That muzzle flash and sound effect of the gun make this skin collection worth purchasing, especially for your Operator.

Firing the gun produces that wobbling sound unlike any other in our list of top Operator skins Valorant has to offer. It is hard to explain further, but trust us when we say, G.U.N Operator skin has the best firing sound.

Players can get the G.U.N Operator for around 1775 Valorant points.

    4. Reaver Operator

Reaver dark and brooding cosmetic upgrade for the sniper rifle

Valorant players can’t go wrong with a reaver, especially when there is an Operator skin in that collection. The Reaver Operator gives a dark, vampiric look with specific effects and many upgrade options. Even Tenz, the man himself, has a reaver Operator skin because “it gives players aimbot.”

By default, the Reaver Operator skin has a purple look, but there are three other variants that players can enjoy. The three variants come in red reaver, black, and white.

Players can pick any one out of these four and won’t have any regrets. Still, that black reaver has something special going on that players can’t say “NO” to. It is the best variant out of the collection.

Upgrades Available for the Reaver Sniper Rifle

In terms of upgrades for this rifle, there are VFX, SFX, animations, effects, and a finisher available. When players reload the gun, your character uses telekinesis to take out the magazine and put it back in. There is also animation when players re-equip the sniper rifle, alongside an inspection action.

The Reaver Operator skin is also famous for its sound effects that soothe your soul, as it is a bit deep but still manages to give players goosebumps. A dark hole opens underneath the victim when the finisher activates, pulling them through it.  It’s pretty cool to watch!

Players can get the Reaver Operator for around 1775 Valorant points.

    3. Origin Operator

minimalistic upgrade to the appearance of the Operator rifle

The Magepunk skin isn’t the only Steampunk skin in Valorant. Who knew retro technology combined with science fiction could make something so attractive like the Origin Operator Skin? This skin feels magical, having a somewhat light design. Its twisting, natural lines give it an Art Neveau vibe.

The Operator has several beautiful variants to choose from. The default one is its all-black Operator with a touch of gold. The next variant is green in color, the second variant has a red color, and finally, the best one is the third variant, coming in with white paint.

Players can also add effects to the gun, change its VFX, SFX, and animations and then experience its beautiful finisher. If players inspect the Origin Operator’s skin, it starts levitating between their hands. Even more, the moving mechanical parts also start levitating while coming out of the gun.

Firing the gun produces a metallic sound that perfectly matches this great-looking cosmetic upgrade. It is like a magic wand that feels light but shoots from another end. All other animations also have that levitating effect of moving parts.

When the finisher activates, a ring appears above the victim and then shoots a beam in which the victim vanishes.

Players can get the origin Operator skin for around 1775 Valorant points.

    2. Ion – The Runner-Up to the Greatest Operator Skin in Valorant

All white and simple cosmetic upgrade to the sniper rifle in-game

There is no substitute for simplicity, and the Ion Operator Skin is proof of that. There is only one ion Operator skin, which is enough to put this skin in our list of best Operator skins Valorant. Not every collection needs three extra colors. If the skin hits the right spot, players can use it for the rest of their lives.

Visually, the ion Operator skin is minimalistic and clean-looking skin. On the outside, that simplistic approach of soothing white and blue energy catches the eye.

Why does Ion count as one of the best Operator skins in Valorant? The Ion Operator is known for its sound effects that give players an “aim bot.” Yes, players can add a bit of upgrade here and there to make it deadlier.

Players can upgrade with VFX, SFX, animations, and a finisher. Most of the animations feature the glowing core that powers the gun. When players reload, that core disappears and reappears. There is a unique mesmerizing sound when players reload the gun, re-equip it, or inspect it. The finisher for this weapon looks like some world-ending particle the Large Hadron Collider might spit out. A blue orb appears around the victim, shrinks, then disappears in a blaze of blue light. Someone call the CERN cleanup crew!

Players can get the ion Operator skin for around 1775 Valorant points.

    1. Elderflame – The Best Valorant Operator Skin

The Best Valorant skin for the Operator weapon with dragon features

The Elderflame Operator Skin is the best thing that happened to Valorant. Players will have an elder dragon in their hands. The muzzle is its head, and it seems to spit fire when the gun shoots. The dragon’s wings form the scope, a crystal that acts as a lens. The dragon’s hindlegs crouch near the magazine come complete with articulated claws. Unlike in other Elderflame skins, which are more compact, players have more dragon here to admire.

Variants to This Amazing Dragon-Inspired Skin

The default Elderflame Operator Skin is plum colored with details in salmon pink, ruby red, and sunny yellow. There are three other variants players can enjoy.

The first variant is primarily red, the second variant is blue, and the final variant depicts the dragon as dark as a moonless night. Each variant is beautiful, but the dark one is our favorite. It would look at home as a gargoyle on an old French church!

There are Many Upgrades You Can Apply to this Great Operator Skin

In terms of upgrades, there are SFX, VFX, animation, and a fiery finisher. Did we forget to mention that this dragon is alive? Like a witch’s familiar, the Elderflame Operator Skin moves as the player moves, performing lifelike actions when the player re-equips the gun.

The same action can be seen for interaction and reloading. When players reload the gun, the head of the dragon moves toward them. Furthermore, when players fire the gun, the dragon lets out a ferocious roar!

This skin’s finisher is a masterpiece.  When the last enemy dies in the round, Dragonfire rains down on them in a relentless blast.

Players can’t go wrong with this skin, with the fantasy genre undergoing a great revival in the popular imagination. After all, who isn’t waiting for a dance with dragons?

Players can get the Elderflame Operator skin for around 2475 Valorant points.

Other Great Valorant Operator Skins worth Considering

colorful glitchpop skin for the Valorant Sniper Rifle

Players have many choices in finding the best Operator skins, just like in finding the best Valorant Vandal skins. That is why it’s hard to put just a single list out there. While we stand behind our top choices, players who don’t  find their favorites on this list may also enjoy checking out some of the below skins:

    • Glitchpop 2.0 Operator
    • Sentinels of Light Operator
    • RGX 11z Pro Operator
    • Prelude to Chaos Operator

Final Verdict on the Best Operator Skins in Valorant

The Operator, unlike other skins, has a different fanbase. To use a sniper rifle, players must start training with it and stick with it to get good at it. Therefore, its community is willing to go the extra mile and purchase the most top-notch skin it can find.

The only issue is that because Riot seems to love Operators, they have nearly every upgradable skin ready for it. This makes picking just one favorite Operator skin an issue of choice for Valorant players. So, we compiled this list of top Operator skins Valorant offers, ranking them from worst to best.

We hope you have found your new favorite sniper rifle skin amongst our top picks. For other great skins, you should check out our all-time favorite weapon skins in Valorant.
