The game Hunt: Showdown has its fair share of hunters that players can play as but have you ever asked the question, “who are the best legendary hunters of Hunt: Showdown? “ Don’t worry if you didn’t because today we will be showcasing to you our picks for 10 best picks for legendary hunters in Hunt: Showdown-
10. The Reverend
The Reverend despite being a legendary hunter, kind of seems average to be honest. He is definitely better than most hunters but for a legendary hunter, he definitely needs some better animation. Reverend Ishim Gird, first came to the bayou to save innocents from the plague. But as the infection started spreading more and more, he witnessed his congregation tear each other apart in Healing-Water Church. Barely running away with his life, Reverend swore to himself to get rid of the swamp of its parasites. The Reverend can be bought at the cost of only 700 Blood Bonds.
9. Sheriff Hardin
In my opinion, Sheriff Hardin is one of the coolest Hunters to play with. His animation is so sassy as you get killed by him, he just wipes dust off his badge. It’s like mocking the enemy that you can’t even touch me. A personal favorite hunter of mine if you could not tell. Sheriff Wayne Hardin has some great lore in Hunt: Showdown. He was in charge of preventing the plague from spreading back in the early days. As the plague spread everywhere, he found his inmates unreliable to become useful hunters. Now he hunts the bayou himself, getting rid of any infection that might harm his people. If you want something done right, do it yourself am I right? He can be bought for 500 Blood Bonds in the Legendary Hunter menu.
8. Redshirt
Let’s get real with this one, we all only use Redshirt for the memes or for our godlike montages. Nobody would want to play with a bright red target on their chest and yet, Redshirt is still one of the fan favorites. His origin goes like this, one night Jonathan Redshirt got too drunk and got into a crazy bet to enter the Bayou with a red target on his chest. If he can survive the night, he would win the bet and will be given the deeds to some land out West. But is that bet worth risking your life? Only his tombstone will tell.
7. Felis – A Terrifying Legendary Hunter in Hunt: Showdown
Felis is the type of girl that definitely stalks you and watches you sleep at night. I mean look at her, she sends chills down my spine. She is a colleague of our favorite Bone Doctor John and she’s as dangerous as she is rumored to be. Many also suspect her to be a Voodoo witch that shapeshifts because she wears the skulls and bones of felines. But in reality, her Legendary Hunter outfit in Hunt: Showdown is to show fear and warning to her foes that they are about to fight the queen of the bayou. Definitely, a must-have hunter in my opinion.
6. The Ronin
For all you weebs out there, Ronin is the best hunter for expressing your inner Japanese. Jokes aside, the Ronin is a really cool Hunter with an even cooler animation. Yes, he has a bald spot but we can ignore that right? Inuta Bakin had barely pledged his allegiance but his master was disposed of swiftly. Now, without a master, Ronin roams the Bayou in search of revenge. His dress-up style and fighting style are both inspired by the traditional samurai ages and shockingly, his style is very effective in the depths of the bayou as he fears his victims wearing an Oni mask.
5. Cain
The freshest legendary hunter added to Hunt: Showdown, Cain is a kind of wild human who deserted the man he was some time in the past. He presently hides the inlet hoping to release his indignation on anybody who crosses his way. Cain is a primal madman that put fear into his victims. Often time his victims’ last words are his name. Burdened by his grief, he marches through the mountains rattling through the godless bayou. Cain is just accessible in the wake of purchasing the Through the Bone Briar DLC.
4. Weird Sister
Truth be told Weird Sister is one of the scariest legendary hunters in Hunt: Showdown. She’s inspired by the healing powers of Voodoo King Doctor John, Cora Beukes her original name, became a Voodoo practitioner and was worthy enough to initiate into John’s gang of Hunters. Though she is a legendary hunter, her origin is still a mystery. But trust me when I tell you this, the animation is one of the scariest animations that Hunt has to offer. I mean give me the Hunter but keep this creepy chick away from me.
3. The Bone Doctor – A Simple Yet Powerful Legendary Hunter
Even as a legendary hunter, the Bone Doctor has the simplest animation, yet it feels impactful. It shows that sometimes you don’t need a creepy animation like Weird sister to put an impact. He was born in Senegal and brought to New Orleans as a slave. Doctor John became psychotic and after he was freed from his slavery, he started practicing the arts of Voodoo in the New Orleans Voodoo community. From there on he founded a new team of loyal Hunters and followers. Though he made a name for himself, he is often suspected of actually causing the plague because of his supernatural healing abilities. The doctor wears a skull mask and bone necklace. He can be accessed through the DLC called Legends of the Bayou.
2. The Prodigal Daughter
After the passing of her mother, who was a heroic Union spy during the Civil War, Sarah Burton acquired her mom’s outfit and wears it into the fight while hunting in the bayou. With her incredible Union warrior outfit, alongside a truly cool and one-of-a-kind mask, The Prodigal Daughter is a fan favorite in the bayous. Also, her animation is one of the best in the game. She can be accessed through the purchase of The Prodigal Daughter DLC.
1. The Black Coat
William Durant, or The Black Coat, is a scoundrel and killer. A dishonest criminal who thinks often about nobody yet himself. Look out hunters, The Black Coat will kill you and take your boots. Also, your bounty, as well. He’s an incredible hunter to acquire during night games as his all-black clothing makes it harder to see him. In spite of the fact that he stands out in contrast to everything else in daytime maps. In any case, The Black Coat is an amazing-looking legendary hunter. A number one in the marsh for clear reasons, The Black Coat can be purchased for 500 Blood Bonds.
