A game can’t only rely on good gunplay mechanics, a good map design, or beautiful visuals. It must give players something meaningful to do, especially on an open map. The Cycle offers great experiences for players on PvE and PvP. But how do you prevent players from treating this Looter Shooter as a free-for-all game? By continuously giving activities to players, such as finding dead drops in Thee Cycle Frontier, Yager found a familiar way for gamers to improve and stay engaged.
The Cycle Frontier is a game that makes players stay on the move through aggressive PvE and PvP elements. The game contains three factions, each one with different activities and objectives. This article will quickly cover how you can best complete their missions that require you to use Dead Drops. We have the location of every Dead Drop in the Bright Sands map of The Cycle Frontier and will help you quickly find them all too!
The Factions Giving Dead Drop Missions In The Cycle: Frontier
The three factions that control the Prospect Station are Korolev, Osiris, and the ICA.
Each one of them will give you a mission to drop specific items into their Dead Drops scattered around the map of Bright Sands. These factions can request you to drop from very simple items such as grenades to rare or epic items in high-danger areas, making it difficult for players to complete these missions, especially for those unfamiliar with the location of all of them.
- Korolev: This faction is basically a mining-focused company
- The ICA: A security company that looks for the safety of civilians
- Osiris: Scientist faction in charge of researching the flora and fauna of Fortuna III
The Location of Every Dead Drop on the Bright Sands Map
Depending on the faction you are doing missions on, you will be requested to drop simple or valuable items to their respective Dead Drops. This task can be complicated if you carry valuables to high-danger areas filled with some of the hardest creatures and high-tier players. In order to make this activity easier, we will provide the exact location of each. There are 8 Dead Drops in total around this map.
Note: Before we dive into the article, keep in mind that some prospectors like to camp some of these Dead Drops, especially the one at Base Camp.
Swamp Camp Skeleton Dead Drop Location
The Dead Drop in this location is in the middle of the Swamp Camp landmark, close to the collapsed building. The Dead Drop is inside of what appears to be one of the ribs of the big skeleton right next to a small rock.
Comms Tower Dead Drops on Bright Sands in The Cycle: Frontier
In this location, there are 2 Dead Drops, one at the Comms Tower, which is on the very south side of the compound, and the other by the Satelite Dish
Satellite Dish Dead Drop
This Dead Drop is located at the Satelite Dish between the extraction and the northern building of Comms Tower. Remember that this is a high-danger area with powerful creatures such as a Jeff (Marauder) that could be roaming around. For this, we recommend bringing a decoy grenade to distract creatures, especially the Marauder, which usually roams close to one of the Dead Drops in Comms Tower.

Comms Tower
This Drop is at the South Side of Comms tower and on the opposite corner if you enter through the Jungle.
Base Camp Dead Drops in The Cycle Frontier
Base Camp contains three Dead Drops, one of them being outside and the other 2 being inside on the second floor. This is a high-danger area. It is common to see a lot of player traffic with an extraction site in the middle. Moreover, there is often valuable loot that can be found here.
We recommend bringing a decoy grenade to distract the possible Jeff (Marauder). It usually spawns in the middle of it. You need to be prepared to fight both players and creatures. The Jeff located here can be hard to avoid, so come prepared with guns to kill it. We invite you to review our guide detailing some PvE tips to deal with every creature in The Cycle: Frontier
Gate A Dead Drop
This Dead Drop is outside, located on the west side of Base Camp, right next to the ramp that climbs to it. This entrance also has a big entrance for the building.
Gate C Dead Drop
The Gate C Dead Drop is located on the east side of Base Camp. You can either get to it from the inside or the outside. To reach it, you need to go to the east stairs and through the first door in front of them. You can also identify the door through the RUN! sign on the wall in front of the door. Once you enter this door, there is a box to the right, and the Dead Drop is located behind.
To enter from the outside, just climb the ladders on the cliff wall, open the door, go through the door on the left, and the Dead Drop should be across the room.

This one is located across the Gate C Dead Drop, inside Base Camp on the second floor too.
Like the Dead Drop in Gate C, this one can be entered from the outside or inside. This is located by going up the stairway on the west side of the compound. Once you enter, take two hard rights and should be by the wall at ground level.
Waterfall Lab Dead Drop
This Dead Drop is located in a moderate danger area but is constantly visited by prospectors. This one can be found by exploring the middle area of the main compound behind a desk.
Deep Underground Elevator Dead Drop Location in the Cycle Frontier
This Dead Drop can be found at the East Collection Point on the underground section. This zone is not very conflicting, but players must be careful since there is extraction in the middle of it. This Dead Drop is located underground and goes into a massive tunnel at the bottom of the compound next to some mining machines.
