Guns, guts, and glory is the rhythm of Hell and Metal: Hellsinger has plenty of weapons to choose from. From a powerful shotgun to a nuclear crossbow or a talking skull, there’s a weapon for everybody.

No matter your choice of weapon or playstyle, all of Metal: Hellsinger’s weapons get the job done, but for those who want the biggest and best weapons, look no further than our list. Here are the five best weapons in Metal: Hellsigner.

    5. Terminus

The Terminus is the first weapon the player receives at the start of Metal: Hellsinger, and it seriously packs a punch. This sword, also referred to as “The Unknown’s Blade,” is the only melee weapon in the game and cannot be unequipped from your loadout. This sword’s devastating three-part combo deals bonus damage if you land the final strike.

The Terminus is a great weapon in Metal: Hellsinger for dealing with smaller enemies like Marionetes or has enough power to stand toe to toe with larger foes like the Behemoth. Although this weapon gets more challenging to use on harder difficulties, the Terminus has a devastating Ultimate ability that we cannot ignore.

Whenever you activate the Terminus’s Ultimate, the song temporarily switches to a different BPM, allowing you to swing the sword significantly faster than usual, alongside hitting everything within your sight when using it. The damage you can put out with this sword’s Ultimate can bring a Judge’s HP down by at least 30% before they teleport away.

    4. Persephone

Persephone is the third weapon players obtain in Metal: Hellsinger, and it wouldn’t be a brutal demon-slaying game without a great shotgun. Persephone, also known as “Queen Death,” takes the next spot on our list for her devastating power against giant monsters and hordes, even if she has a slow fire rate.

Despite Persephone’s low fire rate, she packs a serious punch, especially because every shot timed to the beat of the song will not only deal more damage but also pierce multiple demons.

Persephone’s power doesn’t stop at her raw damage and crowd clear because her Ultimate fires a quick gigantic blast piercing through all demons in its path. This shot deals around 6000 damage, making one of the strongest Ultimates in Metal: Hellsinger. The Ultimate is strong enough to one-shot hordes of lesser demons or put tougher ones into the slaughter state for an easy Execute.

The only reason why this beautiful shotgun isn’t higher on our list is its lack of range and for the time you have to spend reloading and waiting between each shot. Metal: Hellsinger has a wide variety of enemies, and while there’s a handful of enemies Persephone can make quick work of, there are also a lot of flying enemies this shotgun struggles with.

    3. The Hounds – Maybe the Most Fun Weapon in Metal: Hellsinger

The Hounds are two revolvers, each with their own name, “Cerberus and Orthrus.” Together, they become The Hounds. These pistols are obtained after acquiring Persephone, making them a wonderful pair. The Hounds have a high fire rate, fantastic range, and incredibly satisfying headshots.

The Hounds are a fantastic choice for dealing with flying enemies or picking off any demon who stays out of melee range. The Hounds don’t deal as much damage as Persephone, but they have more stopping power if you have great aim. Headshots with The Hounds will drop Marionettes in one bullet or Cambions in three shots.

The Hounds also have a fantastic Ultimate by spawning a clone of the Unknown with a copy of the pistols. This clone persists even when swapping weapons and will shoot at any nearby demons, regardless of whether they can be executed.

Overall, The Hounds are a fantastic tool for dealing with any enemy, especially ranged units, with a tremendous ultimate that can provide extra fire covering.

    2. The Red Right Hand

The Red Right Hand is introduced in Metal: Hellsinger’s first DLC, The Dream of the Beast.

This great Metal: Hellsinger weapon doesn’t have a stage you need to reach to unlock it. It automatically appears in your arsenal if you own the DLC. This powerful burst-fire machine gun follows a unique rhythm, resulting in a ton of burst fire.

Powerful red right hand weapon in metal hellsinger

The Red Right Hand is a beautiful blend for mid-ranged combat, not being better than Persephone in close quarters or as good as The Hounds at longer ranges, but an excellent all-around weapon.

The Red Right Hand’s Ultimate lets the weapon’s spirit take over, allowing the gun to fire on its own. This Ultimate is devastating in firepower but enables you to focus on evading enemy attacks while the weapon fires for you. Being able to focus entirely on avoiding damage and activating Glory Kills once the enemies are in range is a very powerful ability that you shouldn’t sleep on.

This gun does a bunch of damage if you can stay in sync with its rhythmic burst fire, and it has a large magazine as an added bonus, so you won’t need to reload as often.

    1. Vulcan

vulcan crossbow weapon with skull on it from the Metal Hellsinger game

The Vulcan, also known as the “Soulbreaker,” is one of the last weapons you obtain in Metal: Hellsinger because of its raw power. The Vulcan is the king of AOE since every shot explodes in a large radius whenever the bolt comes into contact with an enemy or a surface.

The Vulcan is amazing for dealing with large groups of enemies, or bypassing the Shield Cambions defenses, making it a fantastic choice to pick up.

The Vulcan’s Ultimate spawns a black hole, sucking most nearby demons and stunning them while dealing constant damage. This Ultimate is amazing for crowd control but also pairs nicely with other Ultimates, such as Persephone’s or Terminus. It’s an amazing setup or solo weapon that easily takes the number one spot for the power and utility it brings when facing any Metal: Hellsinger enemy.

Conclusion on our Top 5 Best Metal: Hellsinger Weapons

That’s our shortlist of the best weapons in Metal: Hellsinger. Overall, we love all the weapons in Metal: Hellsinger, including Paz and the Hellcrow. Our favorites are The Hounds and Persephone.

Yet, we do not deny that the Vulcan and the Red Right Hand are immensely powerful. If you enjoyed our list and want to learn more about the game, check out our review of Metal: Hellsinger.
