Most of the Valorant skins are either based on a futuristic theme or something unique, further adding a mix of addictive visuals, sounds, graphics, animations, and effects to spice things up.
You might be one of those who likes things much simpler in Valorant and wants to have a skin that doesn’t go off the charts with visuals while still being visually perfect. Don’t worry, we’ve got your back. This article will discuss the infantry skins that Valorant has developed to take you back to the World War II era.
Brief Infantry Skins Overview
The Infantry is a collection of skins in Valorant based on World War II. With this bundle, you won’t get those crazy effects but rather something unique. Consider a cartoonish game like Valorant, where you have mature World War II-themed guns to use.
It may sound a bit strange, but this bundle works like a charm. You can choose from various guns in this bundle; one of them has a unique empty magazine sound. Moreover, the infantry skins that Valorant blessed us with are surprisingly budget-friendly and won’t empty your wallet.
Guns and Designs of Infantry Bundle
All the infantry skins come with wood paneling and that dark-toned metal as if they have been used in war before. The weapons you will find in the bundle are;
- Ghost
- Spectre
- Guardian
- Ares
- Operator
The best thing about the design is that the Ghost looks like Lugar Pistol, the Operator looks like a Mosin Nagant, the Ares looks like MG34, and Guardian is like that legendary M1 Carbine or M1 Garand.
One more thing to note here: the Operator, unlike other guns, is wrapped with a white cloth. This makes it one of the most fantastic Operator skins out there in Valorant.
Bundle Cost
The whole bundle will cost around 3500 Valorant Points, which is great. If you want to get the individual Infantry Skins Valorant offered, each will cost about 875 Valorant Points. Still, a great deal at this price point.
All Infantry Skins Valorant
1. Guardian Infantry Skin
The best in the whole collection is none other than the Guardian. We already mentioned that it looks like an M1 Garand or an M1 Carbine, which are original World War weapons. Just like in reality, the Guardian Infantry Skin comes with a combination of dark, worn-out wood and metal with a dark tone.
The attention to detail here is fantastic; you can see the steel bolts on the gun that keep the wooden part together with the dark metal base, while the wood has those realistic-looking grains.
The best thing about the Guardian Infantry Skin Valorant came up with is that it makes a unique empty magazine sound, similar to the old M1 Carbine sound in COD. Most people pick this skin solely because of that sound, but the entire skin is a masterpiece.
Besides all this, there are no upgrade options available with this skin. You don’t have VFX, GFX, animations, no kill sounds or banners, and no finishers; just plain skins found in any other FPS game.
Features
- Exceptional Attention to Detail
- More realistic Wooden Part on Gun
- Unique Empty magazine sound
2. Operator Infantry Skin
Next up, we have the Operator Infantry Skin Valorant came up. When this skin came out, it became one of the most popular, if not the best, Operator Skins in Valorant. It is also considered a masterpiece, and there are several reasons for it.
First of all, you will notice that the Operator has that perfect look of a Word War Sniper Rifle. It looks similar to the Mosin Nagant, and developers completed the look with that white bandage on the front.
Yes, that White bandage is unique and not found in other Infantry Skins. Besides this, the weapon has a metal scope, barrel, and magazine. In contrast, there is a wood covering on top of the gun, mainly on the support, the grip, and the in-between part.
Guardian has a lot of steel bolts, but here you can only find the bolts on the grip that join the wood with metal. All in one, a very unique and realistic approach to Operator, which is not found in any other skin so far.
Still, you can’t have any upgrades with this weapon as there are no supports of VFX, SFX, GFX, Banners, Kill sounds and Finishers. It is a plain Skin without any crazy effects.
Features
- Realistic Metal Scope
- A White Cloth Bandage on the front side
- A balance between Metal and Wood

3. Ares Infantry Skin
When you handle this ares skin inside the game yourself, it feels as if there is a real machine gun in your hand. The detailing here is exceptional with that dark metal all around the gun. Whereas, you will find wood only on the useful parts.
So, in the Ares Infantry Skin Valorant developers went with mostly metal. There is metal on the round Magazine, the top of the gun, and the front where you have the gun stand and the barrel.
There is worn-out wood only found on the grips, and the shoulder supports a bit on top. It looks like an MG34 on hand because of that detailing. Just like the other two, we discussed; you will find Metal Bolts on the Grip side to provide comfortable support.
Besides the attention to detail, there is nothing extra with this skin. You don’t have those addictive kill sounds, effects, and animations. Just plain old Word War-style skins that you can use any day without having to go tired.
Features:
- Dark Metal covering the gun gives an exceptionally realistic look
- Round Metal Magazine
- Worn out wood only in useful parts
4. Spectre Infantry Skin
A real beauty in hand, the Spectre Infantry Skin might not come with those mesmerizing visuals but it does pack the feeling of a World War SMG on hand.
On the physical appearance, this skin has that Dark Metal on the big Magazine, the Body, and the Front Barrel. While being an SMG, Valorant developers went with small shoulder support.
The wood covers the front-below Spectre and there is also some on the grip side. If you have played Call of Duty, then it might pack the same feeling. There are even silver bolts on the grip and other wood parts covering the metal.
You might notice that the silencer on Spectre isn’t made up of something technologically new like we see nowadays, rather it’s similar to the Word War-style metal silencers.
Features
- Metal Silencer and Shoulder support
- Extra Steel Bolts on Wood
- Realistic World War SMG look
5. Ghost Infantry Skin
Lastly, we have here the Infantry Ghost Skins Valorant Made. After the Guardian and Operator, most people like to use the Ghost Infantry Skin because of its unique look.
Just like those World War Pistols that don’t have to cover on top, the Ghost here is something similar. Coming with nearly all Dark Metal Design, you can see that the top isn’t covered. The Metal passage from which the bullets come through is fully exposed here.
Just like we mentioned, the Ghost looks exactly like Lugar Pistol from World War as there is only wood on the grip side. Similar to the Spectre, you can see the silencer being made up of metal here.
Features
- A near about full metal body
- Wooden Grip
- Realistic lookalike of Lugar Pistol
Conclusion
The Infantry Skins developed for Valorant took the focus of the community due to their World War-style designs. You can see the realistic wood and metal finish, and even the silencer on Ghost and Spectre is made of stainless steel.
It’s simply amazing how Valorant designed these weapons. As with all other skin bundles, some skins for weapons are better than others. This is also the case with the Infantry Skins, as the best one here is the Guardian, which comes with an empty magazine sound. It is followed by the Operator with a white cloth bandage.
At the last comes the ghost skin. This skin set is specifically made for players who don’t want distractions on their way with weapons sounds, visuals, and effects. Even if you don’t get anything extra, the bundle and individual skins are budget-friendly, which is a plus point.
