The Cycle: Frontier has an extensive armory that includes classic AR guns, submachine guns (SMGs), shotguns, designated marksman rifles (DMRs), sniper rifles, and simple handguns. Players can decide how to arm themselves based on their objectives and obstacles or grab whatever fits their favorite playstyle.
Players of every type have a home in the first-person shooter gaming community. Some prefer to be aggressive and freewheeling, while others prefer stealth and tactics. Fortunately, The Cycle: Frontier has something for everyone.
The gameplay allows players to use various guns by stealing them from other players, crafting them, or buying them from factions. Additionally, this game relies heavily on the player economy. This reliance means that players must purchase gear using in-game money earned by completing missions, selling items, or defeating enemies.
The Cycle: Frontier has an economic system that can make players go broke, unable to acquire high-tier equipment. This is especially problematic for new players that could benefit from a Cycle Frontier beginners guide. Here, we list our favorite budget loadouts and guns to use in the Cycle Frontier while you get your enterprise back in the black.
Best Cheap Loadouts for Every Playstyle in The Cycle: Frontier
As we mentioned in our introduction, players have the option of grabbing gear to fit their playstyle, even if they have a low budget. If you’re pinching pennies, these economy loadouts are perfect for you!
Guns for Your Economy Loadout in The Cycle: Frontier
Everything needed for a budget-friendly loadout is available at the Co-Tec store in the Prospect Station. In this store, players can only find common and uncommon items. Most of the guns in this store can be effective if used well.
C-32 Bolt Action
This Bolt Action Sniper Rifle is one of the most used guns in the game due to its reliability and versatility. It is favored by players without the K-Marks for a high-tier sniper rifle. You can customize the C-32 Bolt Action with a Red Dot Sight or a Zoomed Scope. Unless your enemy is wearing an incredible helmet, this sniper rifle won’t let you down.

AR-55 Autorifle – A Solid Cycle Frontier Gun for Cheap
Besides its price, this automatic rifle doesn’t have any particular attributes that set it above the rest. However, in the right hands, it can be decent in mid to close-range fights. It has a decent fire rate and controllable recoil. We don’t recommend this gun for central to long-range fights, as you will have a hard time landing your hits and damaging the enemy.

The B9 Bulldog carries tremendous firepower and penetration and doesn’t require any attachments. Equipment for Your Economy Build in The Cycle: Frontier
Small Back
It only costs 600 K-Marks, and it has a 200 capacity.
Helmet
It provides 10 armor to the head, and it has a 600/600 durability.
Keep in mind that any gun with higher penetration than 10, can potentially kill you in one hit. You can get this helmet for 380 K-Marks.
Shield
It provides 10 armor to the body, and it has 600/600 durability.
You can get this helmet for 450 K-Marks
Tactical Helmet and Tactical Shield
We highly recommend the previous helmet and armor as these provide less armor and durability. The only advantage is that they give more stamina to the wearer. These items can protect you from enemy guns in the Cycle Frontier.
Consumables to Include in Your Budget Cycle Frontier Build
Health
If you do not have any other healing consumables, we recommend getting 10 Weak Stims at the Co-Tec Market for 90 K-Marks each and two Weak Medkits for 450 K-Marks. The Weak Stim will immediately boost your health by 15 health points. It’s not a lot, but it’s fast!
The Weak Medkit fully restores the player’s health, but it takes several seconds to use, so ensure you have cover before using it.
Grenades
We recommend carrying two grenades. Grenades can deal a lot of damage and have a short fuse time. A well-aimed grenade can instantly kill someone or leave them with very low health. The price for one grenade is 1,400 K-Marks each.
Smoke Grenades
We recommend carrying at least one smoke grenade. Use it if you are under heavy fire and need to retreat. It can be your salvation if you’ve got someone waiting to snipe you at your extraction point. Each Smoke Grenade is 450 K-Marks.
The Perfect Economy Loadout in The Cycle: Frontier
Based on our experience, the ideal budget loadout in The Cycle: Frontier will look like this:
- AR-55 Autorifle
- 2 Weak Medkits
- 10 Weakstims
- Small Backpack
- Shield
- Helmet
- 1 Grenade
- 1 Smoke Grenade
Total: 9,270 K-Marks
If you are willing to spend a few more K-Marks, we highly recommend C-32 Bolt Action, as it’s the most reliable gun found in The Cycle Frontier on this list.
Final Verdict on the Best Weapons and Equipment for an Inexpensive Cycle Frontier Build
Players equipped with mid- to high-tier equipment can overrun prospectors with poorly-planned budget loadouts. However, in careful hands, our recommended gear will save prospector lives. We advise players to pick their fights and be smart about when to fight and when to retreat. Even the creatures in The Cycle Frontier can be a powerful threat. Good luck in your hunt through Bright Sands!
